God Loves You No Matter What You’ve Done
I was just listening to the moving testimony of Lacey Sturm, an American singer, which you can watch on this video:
Her little 3 year old cousin was beaten to death by his stepdad when she was 10 years old and she became mad at God and cried herself to sleep every night from then on, then turned to drugs when she got older.
She describes how eventually she got so tired of living like that and decided to commit suicide, but God intervened. He put three different people there that night to speak to her, and she ended up realising that God loved her and giving her life to Him, the only one who could really help her with all the hurt.
But the most moving part for me was when she talks about that night that she was planning to commit suicide. As a man prayed for her she had an encounter with God. This is what she says:
Even as I write out those words I have tears in my eyes. Because I know that my God is like that, and I love to hear the truth of it from someone else. He is a loving God, He will forgive whatever we’ve done if we come to Him in repentance.
So please, if you are holding on coming to God because you think you’ve done too much wrong, watch this video. Realise God loves you no matter what, just like He loved the thief on the cross and forgave him, and said, “Today you will be with me in Paradise”.
Lacey Sturm also wrote a song about her own story, which you can watch her singing with her amazing voice!

What a moving story. I am glad she is doing better.
Yes it is very moving. I am so glad that God stepped in. She also sings ‘Mercy Tree’ – which she does wonderfully.
Thank you so much for this. Such an encounter must be so wholly healing! God’s love is always around us and His Spirit always in us. Thank you for this encouragement, because I need it so much!
Bless you, Rhoda for keeping on ministering me through your blog. Love, Annette
